Clarification: .PL Domain Registration Count

We recently reported that the .PL ccTLD had reached one million registrations but actually we were informed by our friends at www.dnz.pl (http://www.dnz.pl/), a Polish blog about domain names, that as of May 9th only 671,367 .pl domain names had been registered. You can visit that site (http://dns.pl/english/zonestats.html) for the current count.

The 1 million claim was made up of those 670,000 .pl domain registrations and the rest are just subdomain registrations in zones like .com.pl , edu.pl , warszawa.pl , nieruchomosci.pl . So we’ll have to wait for the real 1 million a little longer…
