Chitika is Considering a Domain Monetization Service

Chitika, a contextual based advertising service which is very popular in the blogging community, is considering starting up a domain monetization service. Although a formal announcement has net been made, Chitika seems to be examining the waters by introducing the notion through a post on the company’s blog made on March 6th.

The proposal appears to be a CPC model based off their already established ShopLinc platform. Chitika is currently gauging interest in the view by conducting a poll restricted within the blog post.

I’m certain it’s no coincidence that that proposed service comes at a day when many in the Domain Industry have expressed their frustration with the recent decline in domain parking revenues.
